Meet Mr Charlie Arida: Managing Director of EdgeGrid Services and Advisory and an Electrical & Civil Engineering Manager with extensive experience delivering major infrastructure projects across HV/LV power systems, substations, transmission and distribution networks, data centres, and civil works. Strong expertise in project and design management, estimation and tendering, cost and schedule control, procurement, stakeholder engagement, interface coordination, and safe project delivery.
Specialist knowledge in underground and overhead power, substations, protection and control, earthing and bonding, deep earthing systems, earth studies, and lightning protection. Experienced in critical data centre power infrastructure and the integration of high-reliability electrical systems. A proactive and adaptable leader with strong technical, commercial, and interpersonal skills, recognised for delivering practical, innovative solutions and successful project outcomes.
Meet Dr. Mohamad Nassereddine: Dr. Mohamad Nassereddine is an Electrical Engineer and Associate Professor with over 20 years of industrial experience and more than a decade of academic and applied research expertise in electrical power systems, transmission and distribution networks, renewable energy, smart grids, and critical infrastructure. His career combines extensive engineering practice with research-driven innovation, enabling the translation of advanced technologies into practical, industry-ready solutions.
His expertise encompasses power system planning, design, protection, commissioning, energy resilience, grid modernisation, renewable energy integration, battery energy storage systems, smart sustainable cities, and AI-enabled energy systems. More recently, his work has focused on resilient power infrastructure for AI-driven digital ecosystems, including data centre energy systems, intelligent energy management, digital twins, and critical infrastructure resilience.
Dr. Nassereddine has led multidisciplinary engineering and research projects in collaboration with utilities, government agencies, and industry partners across Australia and the Middle East. He has authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications and secured significant industry funding to support the development of resilient, sustainable, and future-ready energy infrastructure. His work is dedicated to advancing engineering excellence through innovative, practical, and commercially relevant solutions that support the global energy transition.
